Monique tries to lose weight, she set a deadline for herself so that by the wedding date of her brother in law so she can be 137 LBS.
" I did everything in my power and i even partially succeeded to lose 15 LBS. then a crazy thing happened . exactly 2 weeks after the wedding I gained it all back. Please some body explain to me what happened."
Shahin: Dear Monique,
The sub-conscious mind does not process negatives or time limitations. What that means is that if you think about losing weight, it will rebel, because the mind does not associate good things to losing. So first begin by using the word Weight Release.
. The other issue is that when you give your self a deadline by which you must release the weight , the sub-conscious mind automatically believes you and as soon as the date of the wedding has passed, it works really hard to put the weight back. The reason is that you have almost like a thermostat kind of mechanism inside you , like the Air conditioner. If you set the temperature on 76 degrees, after it reaches that level it automatically turns off, to maintain your wish for that temperature.
The body functions the same way, when you give a deadline and a limited plan , it begins to backfire on you .However your you are perfectly normal because this is exactly what you asked the body.
Here is a good way to make a goal that works well with your sub-conscious
Think as if now
I value optimal health and wellness, which is why i continually move towards health . It is now october 3rd 2015 and I now weight 156 Lbs. .. or I am able to fit in to my clothing that I set aside for this purpose. I know this to be true because i put on the cloth and it fits me. I continue to remain active in my daily routine of joyful eating.
